Real Estate Trailblazers Recognized by RISMedia’s Newsmakers

RISMedia’s Newsmakers, an annual program recognizing individuals making significant contributions to the real estate industry, has announced its 2023 class of Trailblazers. These individuals are not only keeping pace with innovation, new technologies, and data innovations, but also contributing to moving the industry forward and improving agent-client relationships.

Among the Trailblazers recognized is Adrien Bryant, GA State Broker at Vylla Home, a Carrington Company, who transitioned from a top sales agent to management and team production in 2022. Bryant was also credited for organizing and facilitating the brokerage’s first Annual Southeast Summit in Atlanta.

President and Co-Founder of Virbela, Alex Howland, led the company in building online metaverse campuses for significant companies, including Deloitte, Fujitsu, and PwC, in 2022. His work has played a substantial role in transforming these platforms from novelties to must-haves.

Sajag Patel, COO of Keller Williams Realty International, drove a significant expansion of Keller Williams’ community-based business alignment and formation efforts. Patel’s work has helped real estate agents build empowering and productive relationships with each other.

Angeline Vuong, Head of Buyer Product at Opendoor, launched a product that brings simplicity, comfort, and power to the entire buying and selling experience. Opendoor Buy+Sell manifests Vuong’s commitment to advancing a seamless, fast, and enjoyable real estate experience.

The Newsmakers program recognizes individuals across six categories: Achievers, Crusaders, Futurists, Influencers, Luminaries, and Trailblazers. The Trailblazers category specifically celebrates agents of change in the industry.
