The Action Center for Education & Community Development is a mobilization action center to end the inequality in girls’ education. Last year, 91 million girls were denied an education due to a lack of funds, abuse, and family necessity. Yet Research shows that
education is a key driver for ending poverty, the spread of aids, and global generational delinquency. Research shows that when a girl in Africa receives an education she:
- Earns up to 25% more income and invests 90% in her family;
- Is three times less likely to contract HIV/AIDS;
- Has fewer and healthier children who are more likely to live past the age of five.
The Action Center, along with our global partners, are asking people to help harness the power of 500 million face book users, and the additional billion social network users to end the inequalities once and for all.
To do nothing affects us all. World poverty leads to a destabilized world economy, the creations of violent hotspots throughout the world, and a lack cultural awareness that leads to terrorism and acts of violence. None of us escape its impact.
Help us make this the biggest mobilization against educational inequalities over. One voice at a time, $10 dollars at a time, 10 minutes at a time.
Be the change! Donate $10 today and educate a girl so that she will avoid teenage pregnancy, poverty, homelessness, sickness, and abuse. Click here to learn more about our work and donate.
