News Release – On March 24, Campion College students will join, for the first time, thousands of youth around the world to “Stand Out…Speak Up… and Seize Control against Tobacco.”

Kick Butts Day, an initiative of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, was launched by the Jamaica Cancer Society on February 16, 2010 at the staging of its Students’ Anti-tobacco Forum held at the Jamaica Conference Centre.   Campion College, one of the schools that attended the forum, was selected by the Society to stage the first Kick Butts Day in Jamaica.

The activities during day will include a display which opens at 11:30 a.m., signing of a graffiti wall and petition, speakers’ forum and viewing of video created by the students and judging of cigarette box competition.
