The PR grants will be as follows:
- First Prize: One year PR consultancy
- Second Prize: A Comprehensive Do-It-Yourself PR Plan
- Third Prize: A Comprehensive Media Kit
“Many Jamaicans are starting to take their unemployment circumstances into their own hands by starting new businesses. The Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It Public Relations Grant Give-A-Way, was organised to show how public relations could provide increased market awareness and business growth,” said Delroy A. Whyte-Hall, CEO, WHYTE-HALL COMMUNICATIONS.
The grants will be awarded to three businesses that have been in business for less than two years or just starting out. Each business will have to identify and explain, in a 450-word article, the three marketing or public relations elements that make their products or services significant. The grant winners will be notified on December 1, 2009, and the deadline for submissions is November 1, 2009.
